Behind-the-scenes Bell Ringing Tour
The Old North Church was built in 1723 in the
Georgian style following Christopher Wren. In this rare
and beautiful building - that is still an active
Episcopal church - art, history and faith meet in a
special way. It was from the steeple of the Old North
Church that the two lanterns closely associated with
Paul Revere were hung by Robert Newman, Church
sexton, on April 18, 1775, igniting the War for
Independence and leading to the birth of our Nation.
The Old North Church is part of the Episcopal Diocese
of Massachusetts.
45 minute tour will include basic history/architecture
of the church, a slide presentation along with tours
of the bell tower and crypt underneath the church.

Ocean Odyssey - Beginning Robotics!
We all use the resources of our oceans in one way or
another. Have you ever wanted to free a dolphin?
Would you like to sail with a team on a LEGO ship?
Marine biologists use all types of robots to explore
the oceans. During this workshop, we will use the
LEGO Mindstorms system to design, build, and
program an autonomous robot that could go
underwater to do scientific research. We will end with
a friendly competition to show each other what our
robots can do.
